Psalm 1

1 HAPPY {אַשְׁרֵי / ash'rey} the~MAN {הָאִישׁ / ha'ish} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} NOT {לֹא / lo} he~did~WALK(V) {הָלַךְ / ha'lakh} in~COUNSEL {בַּעֲצַת / ba'a'tsat} LOST~s {רְשָׁעִים / rê'sha'iym} and~in~ROAD {וּבְדֶרֶךְ / uv'de'rekh} FAILURE~s {חַטָּאִים / hha'ta'im} NOT {לֹא / lo} he~did~STAND(V) {עָמָד / a'mad} and~in~SETTLING {וּבְמוֹשַׁב / uv'moshav} MIMIC(V)~ing(mp) {לֵצִים / leytsiym} NOT {לֹא / lo} he~did~SETTLE(V) {יָשָׁב / ya'shav} RMT: Happy is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the lost ones, and in the road of the ones of failure he does not stand, and the settling places[1] of the mockers he does not settle.

2 GIVEN.THAT {כִּי / ki} IF {אִם / im} in~TEACHING {בְּתוֹרַת / bê'to'rat} YHWH {יְהוָה / YHWH} DELIGHT~him {חֶפְצוֹ / hheph'tso} and~in~TEACHING~him {וּבְתוֹרָתוֹ / uv'torato} he~will~MUTTER(V) {יֶהְגֶּה / yeh'geh} DAYTIME {יוֹםָם / yomam} and~NIGHT {וָלָיְלָה / wa'lai'lah} RMT: Instead, in the teachings of YHWH is his delight, and in his teachings, he will mutter[That is "meditate."] day and night.

3 and~he~did~EXIST(V) {וְהָיָה / wê'hai'yah} like~TREE {כְּעֵץ / kê'eyts} TRANSPLANT(V)~ed(ms) {שָׁתוּל / sha'tul} UPON {עַל / al} TRIBUTARY~s {פַּלְגֵי / pal'gey} WATER~s2 {מָיִם / ma'yim} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} PRODUCE~him {פִּרְיוֹ / pir'yo} he~will~GIVE(V) {יִתֵּן / yi'teyn} in~APPOINTED.TIME~him {בְּעִתּוֹ / bê'i'to} and~LEAF~him {וְעָלֵהוּ / wê'a'ley'hu} NOT {לֹא / lo} he~will~FADE(V) {יִבּוֹל / yi'bol} and~ALL {וְכֹל / wê'khol} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} he~will~DO(V) {יַעֲשֶׂה / ya'a'seh} he~will~make~PROSPER(V) {יַצְלִיחַ / yats'liy'ahh} RMT: And he existed like a tree transplanted upon tributaries of water, which will give his produce in his appointed time, and his leaf will not fade, and all that he will do, he will make prosper.

4 NOT {לֹא / lo} SO {כֵן / kheyn} the~LOST~s {הָרְשָׁעִים / har'sha'im} GIVEN.THAT {כִּי / ki} IF {אִם / im} like~the~CHAFF {כַּמֹּץ / ka'mots} WHICH {אֲשֶׁר / a'sher} she~will~TWIRL(V)~him {תִּדְּפֶנּוּ / tid'phe'nu} WIND {רוּחַ / ru'ahh} RMT: Not so of the lost ones, instead like the chaff, which the wind will twirl.

5 UPON {עַל / al} SO {כֵּן / keyn} NOT {לֹא / lo} they(m)~will~RISE(V) {יָקֻמוּ / ya'qu'mu} LOST~s {רְשָׁעִים / rê'sha'iym} in~the~DECISION {בַּמִּשְׁפָּט / ba'mish'pat} and~FAILURE~s {וְחַטָּאִים / wê'hha'ta'im} in~the~COMPANY {בַּעֲדַת / ba'a'dat} STEADFAST.ONE~s {צַדִּיקִים / tsa'di'qim} RMT: Therefore, the lost ones will not rise in the decision, or the ones of failure in the company of the steadfast ones,

6 GIVEN.THAT {כִּי / ki} KNOW(V)~ing(ms) {יוֹדֵעַ / yo'dey'a} YHWH {יְהוָה / YHWH} ROAD {דֶּרֶךְ / de'rekh} STEADFAST.ONE~s {צַדִּיקִים / tsa'di'qim} and~ROAD {וְדֶרֶךְ / wê'de'rekh} LOST~s {רְשָׁעִים / rê'sha'iym} she~will~PERISH(V) {תֹּאבֵד / to'veyd} RMT: for YHWH knows the road of the steadfast ones, and the road of the lost ones will perish.
